Jesus sets the record straight

The temptation of Christ

In the pattern for faith that God gives us in Christ, His enters spirit  into that record and empowers our faith thus enabling us to have victory over sin.

[Mat 4:3] And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.

Here we can see Satan emotionally profiling Jesus by saying to Jesus, “if” you are the Son of God…

Satan emotionally profiled God when he said to Eve, “Did God say?” turning God’s words around until Adam stood in confusion and uncertainty about God.

The Pharisees had the same mind set.

Mat 9:11  And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners?

Mat 9:14  Then came to him the disciples of John, saying, Why do we and the Pharisees fast oft, but thy disciples fast not?

Mat 9:34  But the Pharisees said, He casteth out devils through the prince of the devils.

Mat 12:2  But when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto him, Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the sabbath day.

Mat 12:14  Then the Pharisees went out, and held a council against him, how they might destroy him.

1 Adam and Eve 57 vs. 5 - 8

Then Satan said unto Adam thinkest thou that when I have spoken to one about anything I shall ever bring it to him or fulfill my word? Not so. For I myself have never even thought of obtaining what I asked.

6. Therefore did I fall and did make you fall by which i myself fell and with you also whosoever accepts my councel falls thererby.

7. but now O Adam by reason of thy fall thou art under my rule and i am king over thee: because thou hast hearkened to me and has transgressed against thy God, niether will there be any deliverance from my hands until the day promised thee by thy God.

8. Again He said, in as much as we do not know the day agreed upon with thee by thy God nor the hour in whuch thou shalt be delievered, for that reason we will multiply war and murder upon thee and thy seed after thee.

9. This is our will and our good pleasure that we may not leave one of the sons of men to inherit our orders in heaven.

Satan challenges us to prove our worthiness in the flesh and being gods we all want divinity because it is our true destiny; Satan knows that the soul hungers for power because it was created for power.

Satan knows the extent of our capabilities; he has had a glimpse of our inheritance; so therefore he knows how to exploit these things that we might seek for them through the avenues that he offers; keeping us bound to the flesh.

Learn how Jesus set the record straight in the pattern that he set for our overcoming and salvation in Him.

It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Grace is God’s communication with us.

Grace is every word that proceeds of the mouth of God.

Grace is the power of God unto salvation.

This is what Jesus meant when he said the words that I speak unto you are spirit and they are life.

He was saying that truth carries the power of God’s Grace to bring life to and to nourish the soul.

Grace is the power that the soul was designed for.

The aspiration may drive the soul to seek for completion but the aspiration is also the drive that will bring exhaustion to the soul, because the soul will not find the original substance is was designed for in the things of the world.

(Col 2:21)  (Touch not; taste not; handle not;

(Col 2:22)  Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men?

(Col 2:23)  Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.

We can also see that the token of God's Grace that have been sancftified by the blood of Christ are empowered by His spirit to overcome the powers of the flesh and hence we are enabled to overcome self.

Mat 4:5  Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,

Mat 4:6  And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

We can now understand what Isaiah said in

(Isa 28:13) But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.

Satan’s counsel teaches man that they can extrapolate from scripture to support their own principle.

That religion is a huge buffet table that you can approach and choose what carries the most eye appeal to you.

In ignorance Christians are led to believe that as long as there is a scripture in the bible that can confirm your principle then you must be walking by faith.

Christians in ignorance expect God to enter into their faith.

But God only enters into what He has sanctified for the expression of faith.

God only inhabits what He builds.

But a record needs a witness; and so Satan enters into these forms of false belief and seduces the hearts of believers into thinking that this is God.

Satan comes as an angel of light.

Jesus sets the record straight: overcoming Satan

It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

A temptation means to step out of the boundaries of a restriction.

Jesus was saying that we cannot expect God to step out the boundaries His covenant.

(1Th 4:3)  For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:

It is God’s will that we separate ourselves from the world and join ourselves unto Him.

We cannot expect God to have respect of persons, for if that were the case then Christ would have died in vain.

We can see here how Jesus, in rightly dividing the word of God, sets order to scripture according to God’s perspective and God’s principle, which is truth.

Hence we can see the need for and therefore value truth, for truth exposes the lie.

We can also see how through God’s government and His truth we can overcome Satan’s seducing counsel.

Mat 4:8  Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;

Mat 4:9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.

We are created to be kings and Satan exploits this desire through temporal things.

By weighing one against another, Satan inspires covetousness, keeping man’s soul in the bondage of the cycle of death unto death by following after the things of the world.

The will becomes exhausted by the projection of the imagination and thus man begins to lose hope in himself and in God.

Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

Choosing faith means that we choose to build the kingdom of God.

Choosing faith means that we put the plan of God before the desires of our own heart.

By trying to get Jesus to worship him, Satan wanted God to confirm the record of His own soul as a pattern for our faith.

This is exactly how Satan deceived Adam and Eve, by making them believe that God would confirm the record of their own souls as a pattern for faith. That somehow God would value the record of their souls above the record of His own soul.

Satan cannot promise man anything else than that which we are designed for, he can only offer us other avenues on how to obtain the promises of God.

The promises of God can only be obtained through the avenue of Grace which is according to the terms and conditions of the second covenant.

When our expectation of God’s Grace is according to truth, then our hope of obtaining God’s promises are according to covenant.

When our hope of obtaining God’s promises is according to the covenant then the world begins to lose its eye appeal.

The world begins to lose its eye appeal because the more we behold the face of Christ in the tokens of the Spirit; the more we see the face of death in the things that we can touch, taste and handle through the avenues of the flesh.

Hence, by the tokens of the spirit we also overcome the world.

Why the Church is Confused
Much of today's teaching in the church is very confusing. There are now 38,000 Christian denominations whereas just a few years ago there were only 33,000 Christian denominations. God refers to one Spirit and one truth! There is time to reverse the damage Satan did to your faith.   more...
Paul Planted Apollos Watered- I Planted my Own Garden
Ever since God called upon Adamites to be responsible to His covenant He selected individuals to represent His kingdom. It is simple to understand that even though His choice of servants may possess frailties as Samson, David, Jephthah, Gideon and others in the book of Hebrews 11, yet God has always supervised the direction and substance of faith. It is a marvel to see how the Lord navigates around the standards of the gainsayers and makes the wisdom of man foolish. Satan knows that without stewardship the church has no eyes to see nor understanding of the order of His kingdom.   more...

When The Imagination Becomes Your Priesthood
Beware of the snares of the imagination Satan uses to feed the soul folly to fight the plan of God today. When religious people use the scales of the flesh to measure truth, the feelings about truth will always shift into the gears of their own logic. Such a perception will stand opposed to the kingdom of God and the spirit of the Pharisee will emerge again to smite Christ and mock His plan. The imagination muses in wonder and will perish in the application as the fowls of the air will devour the Word they hear but not assess as the true peril of great price.   more...
Remembrance: Dead Faith and Careless Revelations
The torment of unbelief causes withdraw from His grace to set a different pattern for the Christian walk. This contrariness will resist the oversight of government in the fear of losing their own free-will of doctrinal choice and practice. When God communicates in dreams and visions to correct or circumcise corrupt traditions these not functioning inside the House of God will use revelations to the point of fables to justify their independent position severed from the true Vine our Lord Jesus Christ. In this state they are not keeping in remembrance those godly admonitions of the stewardship and will fall away not from their traditions but from His sanctification which will blot out their names from the book of Life.   more...
Dirty Faith: An Unclean Religion And Unsanctified Hope
