Scholastic Salvation vs. Covenant Salvation

Scholastic Salvation in text vs. Covenant Salvation in Charity

The cannibalism of faith by the religious institution that puts salvation in the packaging of personal studies of the teachings of the apostles but not the person of Christ.

Replacing the Truth of Christ with a knowledge that points to a philosophic truth which removes the power for faith. This believer will experience no regeneration.

Satan designs a form of salvation for the unconverted that speaks of good intentions which the apostle Paul calls “will-worship” which is a battle of convincing self of the facts rather than reflecting His grace for your soul to rest in Him.

A scholastic salvation puts forth doctrines that challenge the history of man and the traditions but doesn’t bring the soul into the salvation of the covenant. No substance is birthed to save the soul.

False teachers today as false prophets in ancient times, remove the Truth out of Christ (covenant/cross/blood) to put it into a philosophic promise of good well.

Flattering the mind of His protective shield and safety that doesn’t exist. Some believers read the testimony of Jesus walking on the water and hold a scholastic persuasion about Christ and then seek to prove its validity by testing their theory. They sink!

The classic form of Scholastic salvation is preached from the pulpit getting many amen’s from the pews but no substance of regeneration. This knowledge has already put the believer in the state of “grace” (trance of being saved) that requires no faith. So why the issues of motivation?

Matthew 3:9 “And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.”

John 8:39 “They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.”

We can see this same pattern in Ahab's philosophy of life. He built a kingdom of false salvation in the Jezebellian tradition of religion. Her prophets/teachers made promises based on history as we read in the statement of the Pharisees, and not covenant faith. Elijah challenged this false theology school of Ahab on Mt. Carmel. We see Scholastic faith striving against the words of the covenant stewardship of Elijah.

1 Kings 18:19 "Now therefore send, and gather to me all Israel unto Mount Carmel, and the prophets of Baal four hundred and fifty, and the prophets of the groves four hundred, which eat at Jezebel's table."

How to break the Jezebellian Spell Satan put on the Church

The trance of automated salvation by the quoting of scripture as John 3:16 and the Romans road map. Does God give His witness-seal to this pattern or when the soul submits to His grace upon the hearing of the truth.

Those that claim salvation by the rote of verse become aggressive against faith in the covenant. They also claim that the works of their scholastic studies of the Bible are sufficient for their belief and fruit.

They see no need for apostolic oversight nor the witness God put in the seal. The need to speak in tongues is mocked because they are confident that fruit is born out of their pledges of better behaviour and that repentance is found by voicing the negative passions they call sins. In place of charity they call for repentance in their moral failure thinking that this communication of sin is cleansing the conscience of the corruption they feel.

Scholastic salvation functions as a powerless faith where the anointing is absent. Here the carnal logic rules in the perception in place of spiritual things and will despise the stewardship God appoints for the church to behold the face of Christ.

Putting the text in the place of Christ puts them on the throne for its interpretation turning that first love of the illumination of His grace upon the soul into religious corruption. They return to the vomit and the mud of social issues and evangelise with psychology.

They ignorantly abort His grace and never mature into His fullness which is in the tokens necessary for the true spiritual transition in His Seal.

Those that Answer in Commentary form and not with Biblical Evidence.

The extrapolation of text doesn't justify the selected text to prove either way.
True, the Lord sanctifies His covenant for our faith.

The church needs wisdom to do this transition. God appoints these things through apostles to set order and function for the church. The believers cannot randomly fall into place and expect God to call this His Name. There is unity in His government. The present leadership must concede to the man God elected to lead her.

Isaiah 11:6 “The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.”

The peace of God will not come about by the will of man but by the power of God and His people must follow the one He elects to lead. Scholastic unity will never happen as we see with the learned doctors of the law in Jesus’ period.

The history of the church bears this pattern out to us since the world began. The testing of the heart comes through this method of leadership as God choosing fishermen to lead over scholastic theologians who feel self qualified.

The apostles affirmed this pattern. Paul said that the spirit of the world promotes freedom of thought; desires autonomy of rule and security of self determination “even as they were led”.

Those institutions of the bible that claim to speak for God and yet point to this other pattern, call Jesus accursed and to abominate the Record He put in Himself for the apostles to example for the church.

True charity is in this expression of obedience not denying it. To promise resolve for the church apart from the true remedy is like voodoo in place of faith. Schisms result in the minds of doubt of those that desire to be the masters as was Korah (Scholastic) affronting Moses (covenant) stewardship.

The oversight of the church cannot be by the wisdom of man and his scholastic approach but by the power of God. This Power is in the gifts, Administrations and Operations which God sanctifies and rules His House by.

Luke 11:49 “Therefore also said the wisdom of God, I will send them prophets and apostles, and some of them they shall slay and persecute:”

The church is in the place of repeating history, lets pray they choose the good and abhor the evil not preferring the wisdom of man but stand in His Power.

The Truth About Toxins
Spiritually speaking the human diet is not good regarding the truth of conflict and the battles of the soul. For the habit of life and the signature of the soul play into Satan’s hands for him to craft a prejudice in your perceptions about God and His care for you. The suffering of this world is engrafted by the habits of life and then once converted into the covenant one would think those things are gone which oppressed you to begin to seek the Lord for deliverance and to know Him. Those toxins of the past remain for the testing of the faith in the choices of His kingdom.   more...
