Faith Definition-Part 1: To Trust the Quality of Faith

Faith Definition

Learn To Trust the Quality of Faith

(Deuteronomy 18:13) “You shall be perfect with the Lord your God.”

When you read your bible and you come across this verse, what is your first thought? What do you think will happen to your faith if you were to think ‘faith perfection is something I will have when I’m with God one day…?’ Faith definition seems to stand in a shadow of doubting. This form of thinking suggests to us that our faith is not yet perfect, doesn’t it? And that suggests that what we are doing is not quite hitting the mark. But when we read this in the light of trusting the quality of our faith in Christ, we are able to walk in that perfection in expressing unto God exactly what He has determined for us in Christ.

We can identify that Satan has succeeded in fabricating many different ways in which man can doubt the quality of his faith and that causes your will to grow weak and stand defeated in the shadows of condemnation. This is not what God has designed for us in faith. Satan has successfully corrupted faith definition with false doctrinal ‘potions’ that teach that it is fine to feel weak in faith and it is human to doubt your faith. These kinds of teachings are like poisonous ‘brews’ that keeps the soul in a state of deficiency and hardens the heart with self-justifications, never coming to a place of liberty where faith definition abide in the Light of the perfection of Christ.

About Simple Faith - Illustrated Version
What’s the secret to having true faith? Some say it is desire, some say it is abstinence, some say it is emotion. But did you know that the secret to having true faith is knowledge? Faith in Jesus Christ needs knowledge to be living and to birth the eternal substance of Christ in the heart. The Spirit of the Lord speaking through Isaiah said, “By His knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities,” Isaiah 53:11. The illustrations in this lesson will help you understand God’s plan to provide knowledge for faith and give you the confidence in God to begin this journey of covenant faith. When Jesus Christ is our faith testimony, it means that He is also our faith definition. This teaches us a little more about the quality of our faith. The same excellence that exists in Jesus Christ exists in our faith. Can you see that there is an empowerment invested into our faith through the Spirit that takes us away from the evil doubting and condemnation?

We can tell ourselves this: ‘Doubt is the daughter of Satan’ and by that evaluation we see how serious it is that we cannot fellowship with that feeling. Thoughts of doubting ask ‘why?’ and distract the mind with options that stand opposed to God’s covenant law and rob us of valuable time that could have been used to overcome these false suggestions of Satan.

Stand Firm in Trusting the Quality of Your Faith

God has simplified faith through placing it in Jesus Christ and giving us a perfect faith definition through His covenant. Yes, nowhere in the Bible do we read of denominations but we do read of the covenant between man and God around 292 times in the King James Version. The design of the covenant of Jesus Christ is giving us the priesthood that He has sanctified for faith expression that is perfect. Faith is perfect by definition when its activity matches that which God has authorized and sanctified. It is when we come into covenant with God and we embrace His knowledge and tokens of the Spirit that we are able to value the quality of perfect faith in Christ. When this value increases we see that doubt and condemnation has no place with us.

This chart displays the 9 spiritual tools of the New Covenant and helps make the connection between the grace of God and His tools and the Christian Priesthood. Covenant theology is about learning how grace is transferred from the tools of Christ to the soul. To teach us how to increase in the fruit of Christ, God describes our activity in His kingdom as “bartering”. He gives us the tokens (Christ) to trade in His kingdom, and by trading with grace, we increase ourselves, His kingdom, and those we minister to.

Equity Follows Trust

On the opposite end of doubting we find a firm dose of trust. Trust is born through contact with Christ. And as we see that Christ has given us covenant terms for this point of contact (Romans 11:27) we experience how the Spirit builds trust and confidence in us. We then stop discrediting the quality of our faith. The mind is in agreement with Christ and the soul is in agreement with Christ and the inner struggle produced by the questions of ‘why?’ ceases to exist. Now faith definition is put in the correct place and we are able to be content with what God has provided for our cleansing, healing, overcoming and perfection in faith.
