Psycho-Phecy or Priesthood Prophecy
By Teacher Maria vonAnderseck
Recently while in prayer, making intercession to God for those caught up in the False Prophetic Movement, the Lord ministered to me, “They look unto the reed for life.” This word refers to how ancient Egyptians made their own writing paper called papyrus. The papyrus plant from which the paper is made is a reed. The word “paper” comes from the Egyptian word “papyrus”. Interestingly, the word papyrus originally meant "that which belongs to the house”.
So, God is making reference to the written text of scripture. While owing that the written scriptures are inspired by God, those involved in the false prophetic deny the knowledge of the new covenant whereby the understanding of the scriptures are directed towards Jesus Christ, who is the living Word of God. Hence, they look to the reed (the text of scripture) for life rather than look to the living Word of God for life – Jesus (the knowledge of the covenant) is the record for our faith.
Through Isaiah God’s rebuke is heard today, “But the word of the Lord was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.” (Isaiah 28:13)
How is the Church to Understand the Act of Prophecy?
How is the church to understand the act of prophecy? How is prophecy to be understood and performed? Are we to understand the act of prophecy from the text or from the record of Christ?
It’s true that the word “prophecy” is found in various scriptures. The apostles wrote about prophecy in their epistles. We know that prophecy is the will of God; it is one of the 9 tools of the new covenant. But whose house does prophecy serve? When the act of prophecy is not joined to the covenant of Jesus Christ according to the will of God (apostolic stewardship is needed for this), it is joined to the house of the flesh of the natural man, to speak of that which belongs to the house of the flesh.
This takes us back to the word “papyrus” and its original meaning that God planted in the language for our observation, to teach the church to discern when a person looks to the precept of scripture for life. They say they know what truth is because they can quote a scripture, but in reality they are speaking from the house of the flesh.
In other words, a person prophesies in the voice of the flesh what God will do for the house of the flesh, speaking of removing barriers to promises made to the flesh, speaking a form of conviction to the house of the flesh to chastise the fallen nature of man (false holiness).
We’ll look at an example in just a moment. But first, a little refresher about what the “flesh” is. There are 5 facets of the flesh. They are
1. The knowledge of this world
2. The signature of the soul
3. The moral code of the soul
4. The God-Code of the soul
5. The fruits of iniquity
Together, these 5 facets of the flesh is known as the “record of man” (his own house). The kingdom of the flesh rules over faith when a person is not in covenant with God. In other words, the scriptures are read from the perspective of these 5 facets of the flesh, to cover this nakedness, to accuse or else excuse self or others based on the conditioning of the mind under the tutorage of each aspect of the flesh. The voice of flesh is heard in prophecy when “looking to the reed for life”.
Let’s look at an example of this. A prophet of their own recently wrote: “We will never know the beauty of reconciliation with a mouth full of accusation." Is he speaking from the record of Christ or speaking from the record of the flesh (the foundation of the moral code, his signature, the knowledge of this world, experience with the fruits of iniquity, and drive of the God-Code of his soul)?
He’s speaking from the record of the flesh to build his own house. How can we know this to be true?
In the same breath he also preaches, “I cannot brag about my love for God because I fail him daily.” The conflict and contradiction of the moral code seen above is carried over into his charity. He is expressing his love for God from the record of the moral code, which is the law written in the heart to convict man of falling short of the glory of God, to direct him into covenant.
In that God did not sanctify the record of man as the token by which we love Him, meaning, that we cannot reciprocate to God on the level of moral convictions, we can understand why this prophet confesses to failing God every day.
What of his prophecy? He is offering strange fire to the Lord. This prophet (as all ministers of unrighteousness) placed love within the house of the flesh. He thought the reed (paper and ink of the Bible) would give life. He read in the scriptures what true love ought to be like and then used his own moral code as the scale of righteousness and saw he fell short of the glory of God. He wants you to follow his example of unbelief.
The moral code of his soul mixed with scripture taught him what to accuse and what he ought to excuse. He thought it was a safe bet to say that he fails God every day because he is sure that will resonate with your moral code as well. So, he’s using you as his witness, which is to exploit you to build his house (the house of the flesh), thus dishonoring the house of Jesus Christ.
Life is in the Record of Christ
Prophecy, as it is express through the record of Jesus Christ, is joined to His house of the covenant to speak of the things that belong to Him. This is priesthood prophecy. This is the true tool of the covenant.
1 Peter 2:5, “Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.”
1 Peter 2:9, “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.”
Worship has changed in the church now that God has restored the priesthood of each believer and cleansed the lips of the church. Christians have again learned how to offer to God spiritual sacrifices (prophecy) to show forth the virtue of Christ, whose knowledge is the light of God’s kingdom.
Priesthood Prophecy = Spiritual Sacrifices
Now that God has restored the priesthood prophecy, I want to talk to you a little bit more about Spiritual Sacrifices and how they are the prophecy of the New Testament and show you how God linked prophecy to “charity” to help you gain the mind of Christ. Your love for God need not reflect the flesh and thus fail God. Your love for God can be a perfect reciprocation of the love He gave you through Jesus Christ.
Jesus said, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.” (John 6:53)
Those who listened to Jesus with uncircumcised ears were offended and left Him that day saying, “This is a hard saying; who can hear it?” Jesus then turned to the 12 and asked them if they also were going to leave and Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.
The many could not understand what the few grasped by the Spirit. Jesus, as our Creator, was speaking of the life He breathed into Adam on the day He created him. Adam became a living soul upon receiving that divine breathe.
You Reflect the One Whose Knowledge You Receive
Having heeded Satan’s counsel, Adam’s soul became darkened, for it reflected the one whose knowledge he received. When Jesus said that we have to eat His flesh and drink His blood to be a part of Him, He meant that when we partake of His grace and truth the divine breathe is restored to the soul. And this is what his apostles experienced.
When we offer spiritual sacrifices of prophecy (the utterance of His knowledge from the foundation of truth) this is called “charity” in that we are expressing Jesus Christ in the form of knowledge God sanctified to join you to Him.
Jesus IS the love of God – the breathe of God restored to those who believe Him and receive His testimony. Prophecy is setting the knowledge of Christ in its proper order to honor the house of the covenant of Jesus Christ.
Every spiritual sacrifices (prophecy) must carry this divine order of knowledge to reflect the Son of God. Every spiritual sacrifice (prophecy) holds the divine breathe (grace of God) and God moves upon the waters of the soul to turn the water into wine. I’m speaking here of God’s intent to use prophecy as part of the process of regeneration to cleanse and heal the soul and form in the soul the virtues of Christ. The anointing is daily present to heal the soul of the scars inflicted upon the soul when lost in the kingdom of darkness and to create in the soul the virtues of Christ.
Jesus gave us this sign in Himself when turning the water into wine at the wedding feast. The tongue that tasted the wine Jesus provided, agreed that the wine from the Master’s hand was superior to all others, for the ruler of the feast said, “You have kept the good wine until now.” (John 2:10)
Even so, once the lips have been purified by truth, the tongue tastes the grace and truth of God to reciprocate the same to God in worship, to acknowledge the blessing of holiness in the Son of God to be greater than the holiness sought for in the flesh. The wine of the covenant is the knowledge thereof poured forth to the church by Jesus’ new apostles sent to deliver you from the house and kingdom of the flesh.
The precept does not create this experience of holiness. The precept points to the need for holiness saying, “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.” And, “For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.” (Hebrews 12:14;10)
However, the scriptures do not create the experience of holiness. God uses spiritual GOVERNMENT (to instruct and direct faith), TRUTH (the doctrine of Christ and foundation laid in Jesus Christ), and the HOLY SPIRIT (to give life to the knowledge of Christ to confirm Him, as the Spirit is the witness upon the record).
A Spiritual Sacrifice (prophecy): “The holiness of the letter of man is weak for it possesses only the power of the flesh to separate oneself by the voice of the moral code, seeking the goodness of God to justify self. But holiness that is of Christ is the greater witness, for the righteous separate themselves unto God by the things He sanctified for us in Christ, thus touching Him who is holy to partake of His holiness and thus learn the fear of the Lord.”
True prophecy is to testify of Jesus Christ from the foundation of truth, “For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” (Revelation 19:10) And thus a separation is made between that which is of the flesh and that which is of Christ.
“For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted.” (1 Corinthians 1:31) This is the priesthood prophecy Apostle Paul wrote of and instructed the church in its practice.
Another Spiritual Sacrifice (prophecy) offered to God as an acceptable sacrifice: “Stewardship gives a frame for faith in the record of Christ that the conscience would reflect the pureness of Christ, which charity proclaims as the treasure of the soul.”
The Empty Well is Evidence of the Dead Letter
When a minister says, Come to this-or-that revival/conference (carnival), etc to get in on the “move of God”, it is proof that they are not experiencing the move of God that Jesus promised would be our experience when we partake of Him. In other words, they are not partaking of Him. The empty well is evidence of the dead letter (reed) being embraced.
There are two ways in which the “dead letter” should be understood. First of all, it is the precept joined to the flesh to speak to man of God’s will apart from covenant. We just covered that. Secondly, it is your signature. Each signature is as a letter of the alphabet, possessing unique skills, abilities, and talents.
The human signature, which God engrafted into your soul is played out through your life and promises you potential and purpose. Each signature is therefore the light of the soul. Your signature angel directs you according to your signature. This is not the angel of the Lord that issues grace and directs you according to the covenant.
When a believer is not in covenant with God, they easily confuse the light of their signature with the light of Jesus Christ (the Word of God). They easily confuse the purpose of their signature with the plan of God that is joined to the covenant.
So, we can why truth is necessary for discernment. You are a letter, but Jesus is the Word of God. You are a light, but Jesus is the TRUE light.
The signature is the dead letter in that God will not empower it as His will. The letter is not the Word of God. The Spirit of God will not use the letter as the Father’s witness towards us, and the anointing will not be upon it. Not able to divide the letter from the Word, the false prophetic teaches believers how to serve the letter in place of the Word, making believers subject to the powers of the flesh, which bondage only God can break.
When a minister says, “Learn to worship powerfully to get in on the “move of God” it is again proof that h/she does not experience the move of God that Jesus promised would be our experience when we worship Him daily at the altar of Christ, offering spiritual sacrifices of prophecy in His name (to reflect His virtues by the knowledge that joins us to Him).
There is no higher calling than to return the soul to the image and likeness of God. This is why God focuses our attention solely upon this labor of faith. The gifts, callings, and graces of God are for this purpose. His government, truth, and Spirit are provided to equip us to be fruit bearers.
There is a divine connection between the holy knowledge (covenant terms = foundation knowledge) and the fruitful soul and the expression of charity, as the Spirit bears out through Apostle Paul.
9 And this I pray, that your love may ABOUND yet more and more in KNOWLEDGE and in all judgment.
10 That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ.
11 Being filled with the FRUUITS of RIGHTEOUSNESS, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the GLORY and PRAISE of God.
God plan is that He would engraft Himself into us (Spirit & Fruit) for us to be received back to Him. God knows us by these birthmarks of Christ. You can now better understand why truth cannot be in part, but must be whole. Nothing of Jesus missing. Nothing of man added.
Partial truths and half truths about Jesus are part of the dead letter because the Holy Spirit will not use partial truths and half truths to confirm Christ in you. Many ministers say that they don’t want any man to teach them. But if you deny the stewardship God called to restore the church to His divine plan, and choose to teach yourself, the result is that you end up prophesying yourself.
God Receives us Back to Himself on the Conditions of Christ
God receives us back to Himself on the conditions of Christ. Each prophecy performs this act. God is receiving our faith with these tokens He engrafts within us as if receiving Jesus back to Himself just as He did when He ascended into heaven.
The just for the unjust.
The righteous for the unrighteous.
The holy one for those who were at one time lost in this world, unholy, defiled by sin.
Having said that, you might think that this your experience because you read this in the Bible. But as we have seen, this is not what you’re experiencing. Expectation void of life is the lot of the unconverted believer, but not the experience of those who are converted to Christ.
The Unconverted Believer
What is an unconverted believer? The unconverted believes that Jesus is the Son of God, but has not submitted to the terms of the covenant, and therefore has no access to grace and unfortunately the grace of God does not continue to be issued to the soul. Therefore the practice of his faith still reflects the journey of the lost and damned, seeking truth, seeking holiness, seeking a touch from God, and wondering how to get back to that spark of grace (he calls “first love”).
When an unconverted minister says to you, “Come to our meeting, God is moving again, you can receive a touch from God!” to what is h/she referring? The minister is referring to the touch of grace thought to be “first love” or “first contact” if you will.
That spark, once so powerfully felt upon the soul, left a mark that can never be forgotten. The question for the unconverted is how to get BACK to the grace of God. Do you see what’s missing? The covenant!
The Converted Believer
The converted believer is a covenant believer. Having accepted the terms of God’s covenant through Jesus Christ, having received the seal of the Spirit, grace continues to be issued to the soul, unbroken from the Godhead and throne of His power.
The activity of his faith is for the very purpose of keeping the grace of God flowing daily. The touch of grace is not mysterious or foggy or connected to the flesh to feed the aspiration of man. It is clear and cognitively understood, and very tangible experienced – daily.
The Spirit governs the activity of the faith of the converted believer and he bears the mark of His fire. H/she is touching the spiritual tools upon which God sprinkled the blood of Jesus and they are holy as He is holy. God breathes His breath of life in them daily as they labor at the altar of Christ. The kiss of life is the exchange of charity amongst God’s children, the brethren of Christ that He took out of the world unto Himself.
Sacrifice for sacrifice, the exchange of knowledge bears the mark of Christ, for the anointing is present to sanctify faith. As the knowledge is holy so also is the lips that reciprocate to the honor of God. One’s conversion to Christ is in the manner of this holy exchange.
On the other hand, the unconverted believer is still stuck in the rut of the flesh, wondering where the power of God is, trying to move God to perform miracles, which the unconverted takes ownership of by spinning testimonies into fables. Even though his lips give thanks to God, his heart is turned to this covetousness, to cause his neighbor to stumble from the altar of Christ to serve Baal.
God is Calling the Captive Out From the Bonds of Baal
Who holds the Body of Christ captive today? The same plethora of ministers who have paraded themselves to have been the progressors of truth for the past 40 years, having staked claim to the voice of God via the Faith Movement, the Laughter Movement, every revival movement, the Prophetic Movement, and now positioning the false apostolic to oppose God’s stewards of grace.
Each minister created fables to hold the Body of Christ captive to the lie of their own record, while denying them Christ. Thus selling the souls of those who are seeking God, to fill the lust of their imagination.
“Whose possessors slay them, and hold themselves not guilty: and they that sell them say, Blessed be the Lord; for I am rich: and their own shepherds pity them not.” (Zechariah 11:5)
God calls men and women who cannot be bought or bribed. Thank God, that in these last days He has raised up a voice and a vessel in Apostle Eric vonAnderseck as a purveyor of truth, a master builder. The master builder is called an apostle in that God has entrusted to him the blueprint of truth to lead His people home. Truth again reflects our Maker.
Today there are many apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers answering the call of God to accept the terms of His covenant to build His one house. The choice laid is before you even as the axe is laid to the root of the corrupt tree. Will you continue to build with the spoiled knowledge peddled by the false religious system or will you build with the pure knowledge of Christ?
Continue to reading “What is Psycho-phecy” by my husband, Apostle Eric vonAnderseck to learn more about what the Spirit of God is addressing for healing in the Body of Christ.
What is Psycho-phecy?
By Apostle Eric vonAnderseck
Psycho-phecy is the turning of prophecy away from God’s true intent and purpose (to bind the Body together in the utterance of the knowledge of Christ, which is true charity), to divide the Body by giving utterance to the needs, suspicions, and desires of the natural man.
The prophet’s office was redefined to compensate for a person lacking the grace of God. When not entering into covenant, the stream of grace that normally flows through the spiritual tools is not being utilized.
A person follows after his own desires to prophesy about lack, need, desire, and the wholeness one seeks for when on the false journey of faith. When a person thus prophesies out of his own heart, the grace of God is silent and the aspiration of man speaks loudly.
In this manner hearts are tested before God to make known who is following the fable and who is following Jesus Christ.
The Beast’s Divining Parties
In my last article “Fables and the Journey Mask” I talked to you about what fables are and how Satan uses them. Did you know that the Beast will also work with fables? The Beast will deceive the whole world with fables.
People will be lining up for blocks to get into one of the Beast’s divining parties. The Beast will advertise, “Hear the word of the Lord!”; and these marble images will turn to flesh to speak to the people; and they will prophecy into your life where to live, how to behave, how to reach your potential, how to invest; they will speak to you about your diet and your love calendar and how you will know if the person you are with really loves you.
Psycho-phecy will be manifested in the same manner as it is today. People will pledge their lives, their goods, their money, and their heart to these deceptions. People will cheer and clap and use the same language they do today in response to the word they received: “I felt a strong presence! I felt peace for the first time!”
The Beast will speak to you of your lineage saying that you come from a holy, divine lineage of angels (angelic genealogies); you come from a long line of champions. This same emperor worship is seen in today’s psycho-phecy.
The mark of the Beast is part of this process. Just as people willingly give themselves over to psychic readings and psycho-phecy, they will willingly take the mark of the Beast and walk away marveled and mused by the divining power manifested in their midst.
Apostle John warned the people that the spirit of antichrist is already here. He was addressing those who were departing from the faith giving heed to seducing spirits, doctrines of devils, and going to the beast’s fable parties. But the people could not see the thread.
12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,
14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
The Tower of Babel
When in prayer concerning the False Prophetic, my wife, Teacher Maria received the word “They look unto the reed for life”, which she taught on in the beginning of this article. She was also shown the Tower of Babel.
What’s interesting about this is that the tower was built by rebels who joined hands together in the same philosophy that they could pierce the heavens, to ascend into the heavens without due process of covenant.
And this is true for the False Prophetic Movement. Ministers are seeking to gain godly control over their lives, seeking the power of the divine change in nature, seeking the manifestation of God in their midst, power over sin, power over the devil, etc, all without due order of covenant.
As those building the tower to heaven all spoke one language, so also do Christians involved with the false prophetic all speak the same language of the flesh, which is the language of man’s nature and needs, which language God confounds. On the other hand, God teaches His saints how to speak the language of the covenant, which holds the true blessing of Jesus Christ.
True Prophecy Reflects the Son of God
True prophecy reflects the Son of God. The knowledge of His kingdom, as the wheat of the field, is harvested by the anointing, to reciprocate to God in kind.
False ministers want to claim the authority of leadership and claim insight from God by using prophecy as the key to speak into your life. Christians go to prophetic meetings for the same purposes that those in the world might go to a psychic reading, to gain a word that speaks to them.
The minister, just like the psychic, will say some things that are true, but speak from the wrong kingdom.
Everyone (who is not in covenant) wants to have a better relationship with the Lord.
Everyone (who is not in covenant) wants to have better circumstances in their lives.
Everyone (who is not in covenant) wants to know how to walk in the supernatural.
Everyone (who is not in covenant) wants to know the will of God.
You’ll notice in the statements above that I’m clarifying that those who are not in covenant are still caught up in searching for all things that the natural man searches for. A false minister looks at that which is common to man as if it is insight from God.
Everyone to whom they minister encounters the same challenges of life and struggle of faith in the absence of grace and truth. So, if the minister says to you, God knows that you want a better relationship with Him. Or, God knows that you want the highest purpose of your life fulfilled. And you’re going to think, That’s right on target! That must be God! How did you know?
But that is not prophetic inspiration. That is “Psycho-phecy” False ministers are reading people and putting a biblical twist to that seeking – that plight – that yearning – that damaged soul. Like making lemonade, the bitter and the sweet are put together to make a refreshing drink.
The Lure of the Flesh
The things that are common to man is the lure or bait the devil uses to draw the soul onto a false spiritual journey towards the fulfillment of the flesh. As Apostle Peter said, “For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.” (2 Peter 2:18)
Jude 1:16, “These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.”
Revelation 2:24, “But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden.”
The stewardship cleanses you for your priesthood. Jesus’ students which then became His apostles, accepted their stewardship in the knowledge they received. The Balaam ministry and the Jezebel ministry corrected in the book of Revelations denied the knowledge … choosing to follow the inclination of the gospel of the flesh.
