The God-Code

Lesson 6 of 12

The battle is on—The battle for your mind. Satan has 6,000 years experience using your flesh against you and he knows every trick in the book to get your mind geared to the wrong thing.
As you begin your new journey of faith in Jesus Christ, one of the most important things to know is that the 5 facets of the flesh is the make-up of your soul and  is known as the record of man. It is important to learn each facet so that when they pop up during the day you are better equipped for the challenge and you can prevent Satan from using your flesh against you.
You’re doing all the work right now to identify the flesh to tell the difference between the flesh and Jesus Christ, so it’s vital to learn all the about each of the 5 facets of the flesh. Later, you will have opportunity to use the free Spiritual Growth Workshops to gain practical tips you can use every day to put the knowledge into practice to grow in grace and defeat the enemy.
So far, we have learned about the first 2 facets of the flesh, the knowledge of this world and the signature of the soul. We are now going to turn our attention to the third facet of the flesh, the God-Code. So, what is the God-Code? There is nothing more palpable to the human soul than the God-Code!
You know you were made for great things. When you are in that moment of challenge, when you are on top of your game, you gain insight into your potential, you can feel the excitement of life -you feel exhilarated and you want to excel—yet you serve the frailty of your flesh. You feel restricted, held back, at times confused. Many times you wonder, How can you break out of this prison and stretch my wings?
Satan knows the secret of the God-Code and your current frustration with it and will use this facet of your soul as a tool to turn you away from God. This means we have to do a crash course on the God-Code to learn all we can about it, thereby removing yet another door Satan uses to gain access to the mind to ruin faith.
God Created the Soul With an Appetite
The God–Code can be related to our sense of taste in that God created the soul with an appetite for all things it was designed to experience. The God-Code has to do with man’s pursuit of the nature of God which was lost because of the fall. Our souls were created after the design of God’s own soul, for God had said, “…Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. . .” (Genesis 1:26).
This “likeness” is not referring to a simple outward form (two arms, two hands, two legs, and a head), but is referring to the many facets of God’s nature. Psalm 33:15 reads, “He fashioned their hearts alike.”
We know that God imprinted souls with individual signatures for the function of the flesh, and like snowflakes, no two are completely alike. This is why poets write poetry, artists paint, scientists set order to knowledge, musicians play upon their instruments, and why engineers build sky scrapers. Each follows the uniqueness of his own signature for God has given these as singular statements to define His purpose for each person according to the flesh. We learned this in the previous lesson The Signature of the Soul.
What then is the psalmist referring to? How has God fashioned all hearts alike? The psalmist is referring to our souls being modeled after God’s soul, and here is where we’ll begin to understand the God-Code and how the soul instinctively follows and searches out that rhythm.
The God-Code is the Driving Force of the Soul

Whatever your soul has an appetite for, you will experience a drive to taste it. Let us now explore the appetite of your soul to understand the drive and ambition you experience, what you strive for, what you desire. We will do that by asking ourselves some simple questions about God. What do we know about God?

Just as there are facets to the flesh there are facets to the God-Code. These are different ways in which the God-Code manifests. There are 12 facets of the God-Code:
  1. God sets order to every environment for the purpose of increase.
  2. God establishes weight, measure, and rule.
  3. God establishes justice.
  4. God does things in harmony and equity with Himself.
  5. All things orbit around His principle that He may rule.
  6. God creates with His imagination.
  7. God love to surround Himself with beauty.
  8. God increases by His own design.
  9. God produces those things that please Him, and nothing is denied Him.
  10. God knows no restrictions and no limitations.
  11. God can predict outcome and growth and then follows through with a predictable and perfect design by which He demonstrates progression.
  12. God established a memorial of Himself in all things—everything mirrors Him.

God controls all things according to His plan and sets order by His policy alone. This is why He is called Almighty God. Do these attributes of God sound familiar to you? They should, for you were created in the image of Almighty God, which means that God created you with His characteristics. And because your soul follows the same design, you, too  set order to every environment you are in for the purpose of your increase, whether it is organizing a fund raiser, organizing your closer, planning your day, or planning a company, you set order to knowledge, people, and things for the purpose of your increase.

Now you can understand your desire/drive for order and for increase, why you strive for it. Even those who are disorderly have a map in their mind to their pleasure. It is the appetite of the soul to set order for increase and no one can deny it or escape it.
You also, as God, establish ways to weigh and measure everything for the purpose of ruling over it. You seek justice and seek to have things flow in harmony with your plans, just like God does. You see a piece of emotional or intellectual real estate and want to take that ground. People everywhere have the idea that all things should orbit around their own pleasure and perspective, which is why we set order to our environment by our principle.
It’s easy to see how Satan takes these functions of the God-Code to town. The rule of one’s principle is difficult to set aside. The mind wars against the principles of others, mentally dismantling their logic and reconstructing it for one’s own gains.
We can see this in how a person reasons and defends the things they say and do and pursue. Have you ever tried to set order to someone else’s mind to make others see things your way?
The Imagination is Part of the God-Code, But is it Not Part of Faith
It is obviously in God’s design to create, so you too, being made in the image and likeness of God, also are designed to create with your imagination. What do I mean by saying that? Let me explain that to you. Just as God gave life to His thoughts when He created the heavens and the earth, we also give life to our thoughts.
We create forests, rivers, oceans, and all manner of life by simply taking a brush to canvas. We can take a lump of clay and sculpt it into the images of our mind.
We create through music and reproduce the sound the heart hears. We can take pieces of metal and wire and create millions upon millions of useful things. Everyone has the power to create, and we do it every day. The same attributes God possesses are also in you because you were created in His image and likeness.
However, and this is a big HOWEVER…You may have noticed the cap of death on the God-Code. Our labor with the God-Code now, after the fall of Adam, is accompanied with death. When Adam was separated from God, God put the death that was upon Satan (because of his transgression) onto Adam’s soul (for his transgression). Even as He said, “But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.” (Genesis 2:17)
Adam used his imagination with Satan’s promise to project for himself an outcome of increase. He wanted to realize the full potential God placed within him and was not willing to wait and go through the due order of God’s plan. So, Satan approaching Adam with a promise, he worked on his imagination to abandon God’s plan.
Because Adam used his imagination to reach for something God had not granted to him, God cursed the imagination and cast it aside. Satan found it in the dumpster and decided it could still be used to continue to entice man.
Did you know…Everything that is separated from God ceases to be sustained by God, so Satan sustains the imagination with human aspiration that is assisted by seducing spirits. Every promise Satan makes to mankind seems real (achievable, attainable, good, pleasing, because he hooks it up to the imagination.
God designed the soul to be sustained by Him. He is the sustainer and life giver. Now we can understand the scripture that says that we are complete in Him.  (Colossians 2:10)
The God-Code offers the soul the satisfaction of bringing to completion the design of the soul, but the God-Code (because of the fall of Adam) is now joined to the flesh, not to God. We can see where conflict arises—each attempt to find completion through the God-Code is frustrated because the God-Code, not being sustained by God, does not bring the soul to completion, and the soul suffers vanity and vexation instead—when the God-Code is finished feasting, life seems so incomplete!
As the Spirit preaches to us through Ecclesiastes, the eye is not satisfied with seeing and the ear is not satisfied with hearing.  (Ecclesiastes 1:8) All the labor of the soul with the God-Code and it is still not satisfied. The labor of the signature is vanity and vexation of spirit. The labor with the knowledge of this world is vanity and vexation of spirit.
The power of the appetite was to drive the soul to hunger for knowledge, but the knowledge and experienced it gained followed Satan’s promise, which God will not sustain. The imagination is like a wayward suitor of the soul. It keeps coming back and offering forbidden pleasures.
People examine themselves concerning their place in God’s plan and search the world for answers. The drive of the soul for knowledge is to fill a void for peace and rest. The design of the soul carries this fault of contradiction –That which is crooked cannot be made straight.
The God-Code now preaches to us the struggle (wrestling) with (to put to death) the imagination and the overcoming (walking out the new man in Christ).
You Desire to Surround Yourself With Beauty
It cannot be denied that all people everywhere have the same desire for beautiful things, the touch, sound, taste, and smell of beauty, whether it be the face of a baby, the touch of a flower pedal, the taste of your favorite food made to perfection, the sound of music—these all touch the soul as that which is qualified as equity to the eye, equity to the taste, equity to the touch, equity to the ear. We call it beautiful! We all, as God, have the desire/drive/appetite to increase by the design of our own signatures, and act as if nothing should be denied us, as if we know no restrictions and no limitations.
Just as God, we also predict outcome and growth and then follow a predictable design that can demonstrate progression toward the things that please us. Don’t you also, as God, desire to establish a memorial of yourself in all things, to leave a legacy or testimony to yourself. Don’t you also desire that everything you do is a mirror of who you are? Don’t you, even as God, also commit to control all things according to your plan and set order by your policy alone?
The God-Code is This Riddle of Life
The God-Code is this riddle of life, how all of life follows the pattern God has ordered after Himself. No matter who you are, whether African or Chinese or American, German, Italian, French, or Spaniard, we are all working with the same God-Code. People of all races and all cultures throughout time have understood this to be true and have spoken of it in one way or another. This is why people say that "all human beings share certain characteristics."
Wonderfully, the God-Code dictates an appetite to the soul for the very things God designed within it, and the soul instinctively labors to fill these appetites. ..but the end thereof is death. Why?
The God-Code is Prejudiced by the Knowledge of Satan
The God-Code is prejudiced by the knowledge of Satan and seeks its own (just as Satan did). Know this…....Just because you may be a believer is Christ, you cannot just simply quote scripture to try to set aside or overcome the prejudice of death upon the God-Code and use it anyway. You cannot sanctify the God-Code for faith. No! God wants faith to come through the door of Jesus Christ and not the door of the God-Code.
This is why God assigned death to the imagination for now. The imagination is used to project an image with the signature of the soul and the God-Code about our well-being, our advancement, and our abilities to navigate our problems. You may say, I turn it over to God, but you did not turn off the God-Code, it’s still running full throttle and you’re wondering why you can’t overcome!

Apostle Paul Taught the Church to “Lay Aside” the Glory of Man
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.

Let us lay aside the glory of man which works with these powers:
Overcome the battle of the mind. Learn the powers Satan uses.
These powers are servants to the body. They have been corrupted by Satan. They are worthless for faith. We are to serve righteousness. God gave us powers to serve Him by Jesus Christ. These powers are:
Win the battle for your mind. Learn the powers Jesus works with.
The Will is the Throne of the Soul
The will is the real or true you. God gave you this power for only one reason—to choose to surrender it to God, to serve Him. The will is the throne of the soul. You will either seat yourself on the throne or abdicate it to Jesus Christ.
Let’s learn a little more about what that means. The will serves the one whose kingdom it is tethered to. Romans 6:16, “Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?”
The throne is the power the will serves. We will either serve the throne of God or the throne of Satan. The glory of man is served by these powers: malice, hatred, revenge, suspicion, and fear. The glory of Christ is served by these powers: love, joy, peace, and longsuffering.

1 Peter 2:1-3
1 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, all evil speakings,
2  As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:
3  If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.
Having been adopted into the house of God we have a change in diet, whereas we used to dine on the flesh (the knowledge of this world, the signature of the soul, the God-Code, the moral code, and the fruits of iniquity), we now dine on these new powers of Jesus Christ: His knowledge, His tools, His priesthood, His grace.
We have tasted and now serve his throne.
So we understand further why God does not want us to use our imagination for faith. He wants us to use grace for faith. And so God placed variance or hostility between the imagination and faith. Here again is a tremendous opportunity to learn discernment. When you understand why God’s curse is presently upon the imagination of man you will be equipped to overcome Satan when he challenges you to labor with your imagination for faith.
This understanding of the make-up of the flesh is a gift to the church. God is removing all of Satan’s hiding places to liberate the soul and free the mind to righteousness. God’s river of life brings grace and truth while Satan’s river is the current of the flesh.

Learn More about the instruction by Apostle Bronwyn of Second 8th Week Ministries helps you understand the battle for your mind and how to overcome yourself, the world, and the devil.
Satan uses every aspect of the God-Code and turns it into a challenge. He will keep working the mind over with the challenges the God-Code presents to you. These are all offered as opportunities for you to discover yourself, finding God’s will, finding your purpose. It is presented to you as God’s natural order for you.  You are taught that God wants you to get rid of that weight that is strapped around your feet, God wants you to break free, God wants you to be all He created you to be! God wants you to climb the mountain! God wants you to be a winner!
The modern Accountability Councils is another good example of how Satan is winning the battle of the mind and robbing faith from the hearts of believers in this area. There are literally thousands of these man-made councils in every corner of Christianity, seeking to set things right, make things better, set a new course for the church, and remove the things that offend. Look at the tool they are using. What do you see? Yes! The God-Code!
How does Satan manage to mess with our minds to make each function of the God-Code seem usable for faith? I want you to be as versed in the God-Code as Satan is. Only then will you be in a position to never be abused again by this sly serpent who only loves himself and desires to have you excluded from God’s love and cast out of His presence—as he was.
You need to understand Satan’s hatred for you before you can really appreciate the drive he has to destroy you. He sets your heart aflame with the very things God created you for—not telling you that God set a conflict in the design. It feels right! You can hear Satan’s promise to bring your soul into rest. He has you busy setting order to your soul for increase, you are busy discovering yourself, you are busy looking for perfection and equity.
All this labor of the soul for order for increase, for perfection, for equity. Where do you think Satan will draw upon for this order and increase, perfection and equity the soul desires? Well, he will open the drawer to the signature of your soul and show you all the resources available to you. Your mind will labor very hard to use your own talents to set order to your world for the increase of your pleasure.
If Satan can get you to draw upon your God-Code to find yourself (to perfect the human nature, to find confidence, to discover self, to advance) he has won the battle and you have lost.
What is Means to Labor: When we talk about “labor,” we’re talking about the drive of the soul with its own imprint; for it is the God-Code that assists the soul to gain experience. In other words, if God had not designed the soul for progression, you would not desire that experience. If God had not designed the soul to set order for increase, you would not desire that experience. If God had not designed the soul for equity, you would not fight against all things that contradict that experience.
This is what it means to be held captive by Satan for his will. Even as Paul wrote, “And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.” (2 Timothy 2:26)
What is your mind laboring to gain? Rest! The soul labors with knowledge to enter into rest. That is the design God placed in the soul, to labor to enter into rest. Even as Paul wrote, “Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest…” (Hebrews 4:11)
The soul, when it is void of the knowledge and tools of Jesus Christ (which the church is to learn about by true living apostles), will labor with the flesh (the knowledge of this world, the signature of the soul, and the God-Code).
Believers wonder why the rest does not come. It should be obvious by now that when we labor with earthly things (the record of your own soul) we are laboring with perishable things, but when we labor with the things from above (the knowledge, tools, and priesthood of Jesus Christ) we are laboring with eternal things and the Spirit of God moves upon your faith to confirm Christ, thus your soul stops working with things that diminish it. That means you are resting from iniquity. That is a good thing. Now you are winning the battle for your mind!
The Satisfaction the God-Code Offers
The God-Code offers the soul the satisfaction of bringing to completion its design. The satisfaction (pleasure) of setting order for increase, the satisfaction of establishing our own ways of weighing, measuring, and then ruling, the pleasuring of establishing the parameters of justice, the pleasure of bringing things and people into harmony or equity with ourselves, the pleasure of having all things orbit around our principle, the pleasure of surrounding ourselves with beauty, the pleasure of increasing by our own design. . .
We can see where conflict arises and the resulting war in the mind. Each person is trying to find completion through their own God-Code. We can now understand why Jesus directs us to find completion in Him alone: “And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power.” (Colossians 2:10)
We can also see why the Lord speaks of spiritual fornication (Revelation 2:20), where we join ourselves to the God-Code, signature of the soul, and knowledge of this world for our pleasure (completion) instead of joining our faith to the record of Christ to build God’s house.
If we labor with the flesh (the record of our soul) for the pleasure of building our own house, we are denying Christ the fruit that would come forth from our labor with His knowledge and tools.
The God-Code in its Fallen State is Not Jesus Christ
God planned to return the soul to the likeness of Christ, but did not include the God-Code into that plan. The God-Code is now in its fallen state.  is not Jesus Christ, is it? It is not the record for your faith, is it? But Christian leaders use it to prove faith by pouring their passions into weighing and measuring the problems of the church and the behavior of Christians on the scale of the God-Code. They are setting order for increase by the passions of the God-Code.
Do you see now how Satan holds the mind captive? We are to live by every word of God, but Satan has a way of taking scripture to addresses the passions of the God-Code, just as he did to Jesus saying, “If you are hungry, feed your God-Code, turn these stones into bread.” That is paraphrased of course because Satan was not tempting Jesus to satisfy the hunger of his stomach, but the hunger of His God-Code.
Because Satan has applied scripture to the God-Code and signature of the soul in his battle for your mind and soul, when I say that we are to live by every Word of God, I would like you to think of the 12 Elements of the Gospel. We are to live by His grace, His faith, His righteousness, His justification, His sanctification, His holiness, His peace, His rest, His charity, His truth, His regeneration, and His renewing of the mind. We are to live by Him—Jesus is the Word of God and manifests Himself to us through the letters of His name, which are these 12 elements.
The passion that is poured into weighing and measuring problems and behavior on the scale of the God-Code puts faith at risk because passion replaces grace and covenant. The Bible says that whatsoever is not of faith is sin. Meaning that…
  • The passion of the God-Code is not designated for faith. If we use it as a tool to govern our behavior, it is sin.
  • The passion of our signature is not designated for faith. If we use it as a tool to govern our behavior, it is sin.
  • The passion of the knowledge of this world is not designated for faith. If we use it as a tool to govern our behavior, it is sin.
God gave faith only one frame and one expression—Jesus Christ. If you try to serve God with your signature gifts or function of the God-Code, that is stepping outside the boundaries of the covenant and God calls that spiritual adultery.
What it Means to "Mate" With the Spirit
Now we can understand what it means to “mate” with the Spirit of God. God had intended that we join ourselves to Him through His Spirit and truth to allow Him to heal the soul and form the image of Christ within (the fruit of this union).
Isaiah 54:5
For thy Maker is thine HUSBAND; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.
I Corinthians 6:16-17
What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.
17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
To “mate” faith with the God-Code is an unholy union, which produces the fruits of another kingdom (frustration, confusion, anger, malice, revenge, pride). We naturally join ourselves to those things that we believe will give us power. So, we can understand that if we are responding to the drive and appetite the soul has for the God-Code this will breed false confidence rather than the confidence that is born when using the tools of Christ.
What we learn is…While the God-Code promises many powers, but there is only one power of God, which is Jesus Christ.
From this teaching on the flesh we begin to see true discernment emerging. When you learn how to discern the record of the flesh from the record of Jesus Christ then you can discern false peace from true peace and false confidence from true confidence. You will now begin to gain ground in the battle for your mind.
The Natural Man Verses the Spiritual Man
Can we see now what the natural man is and what the natural man does? He lives by the instincts of the God-Code and the signature of his soul. The natural man obviously sees the potential of the God-Code to mix the flesh (the God-Code) into faith. He sees his potential in the God-Code for increase so he believes he can pursue faith with this power.
God however wants us to see our potential in Jesus Christ and pursue Him after the Spirit. This is what the spiritual man does. And this is why, when you are in covenant with God, you will prize your priesthood and labor there.
There is something in the God-Code that we innately pick up as something that is akin to us. It speaks to us about the very nature of our creation and divine history. We were made by God for God. The God-Code ignites is us the fire of desire to be all that God created us to be.
The problem is that God determined not to know us on the basis of this divine instinct. God determined to know us on the basis of the knowledge He separated for our faith to labor with.
This has been a hard lesson for man to learn. It is helpful to understand that just as God does not reward a dog for barking or a bird for flying (because they are merely doing that which they were designed to do), God will not reward us for acting out the God-Code. God will only reward us on the basis of faith (Hebrews 11:6).
The Mind Struggles For Clarity
The mind struggles for clarity: Why am I here, what is my purpose? When faith is ruled by the flesh (the knowledge of this world, the signature of the soul, the God-Code, the moral code, and the fruits of iniquity) the conscience remains defiled because the Spirit is not consenting to the knowledge we are embracing. The testimony of the soul has not changed and the image of Satan remains.
The habit of the flesh to step forward to volunteer itself for faith presents a barrier to grace. It is this hurdle of the flesh that we overcome by faith in Jesus Christ.
Now you know that when the Bible talks about the “old man” that we are to die to, God is referring to the record of man, the instinct of the natural man with the knowledge of this world, the signature of the soul, and the God-Code. We are to die to the drive to use these things to express ourselves.
God placed faith on a testing ground of the flesh. Those who disallow the stone of Christ (His record/the 12 Elements of the Gospel) choose the powers of this world (the 5 facets of the flesh) to build faith upon.
Faith is our duty to God by the throne of Christ, by those powers that join us to Him. Having done all, let us abandon ourselves to His rest.
It’s nice to know these things about ourselves. It clarifies a lot of confusion about the many appetites the soul experiences. Satan meant to keep us in bondage to the drive of the soul with the appetite of the God-Code, to keep us enslaved to every whim of the flesh. It is a tremendous blessing to experience how God has set us free in Jesus Christ.
